MRS. JULIA TRAMMELL
Mrs. Julia Estes Trammell, of Moreland, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at her home.
Born September 26, 1916, in Coweta County, Mrs. Trammell was the daughter of the late Henry Mitchell Estes and Claudia Strength Estes. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Luthersville Baptist Church, where she served as church organist for many years
Survivors include her husband of 77 years, Charlie W. Trammell of Moreland; sons, Wayne Trammell and his wife, Sue of Moreland, Richard Trammell and his friend, Betsy of Albany; grandchildren, Wesley Trammell and his wife, Leigh of Moreland, Mark Trammell and his wife, Mary of Atlanta, Michael Trammell and his wife, Michelle of Albany, and Jena Shell and her husband, Charlie of Birmingham, AL; great-grandchildren, Dalton Trammell, Jake Trammell and Camden Trammell of Moreland, Rosemarie Trammell of Atlanta, Chip Shell, Trammell Shell, and Julia Shell, all of Birmingham; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, at the graveside in the Luthersville Cemetery, with the Reverend Winston Skinner officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night.
