Judy Phillips Turner

.Mrs. Judy Phillips Turner, 71, of Newnan, passed away Wednesday, August 15, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Turner was born May 31, 1947, in Coweta County, daughter of the late Fred and Lucille Duncan Phillips. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was employed in banking in Chickamauga and at Bank of Coweta in Newnan, and was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, LeAnn and Doug Maxwell of Hogansville; son, Mat Turner; sisters and brothers in-law, Jan and Dewayne Taylor of Newnan, Jennifer and Steve Fetkenhour of Cedartown; and grandchildren, Alison Turner Beaver, Madison Nelms, Carman Maxwell. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, at the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, with the Reverend Steve Fetkenhour officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
