MRS. JUANITA J. SUMMERS Mrs. Juanita Jackson Summers, 89, of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Summers was born January 5, 1926, in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of the late James Hubert Jackson and Jessie Louise Smith Jackson. A resident of Newnan since 1962, she was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Newnan and the Loyalty Sunday School class. She was the wife of the late J. T. Summers and retired in 1990 as a bookkeeper for Kessler's Department Store in Newnan. Survivors include her step-daughter, Mary Lynn (Jimmy) Sprayberry of Newnan; aunt, Clara Smith of Hogansville; cousins, Mary Mitchell of Conyers, Alice Williams of Monroe, Sierra (Scott) Allen of Grayson, Barry Jackson of LaGrange, Rowena (Cecil) Pierce of Carlton, Harold (Shelly) Monchik of Old Bridge, NJ, Clark Fuller of Huntsville, AL, Ed Smith of Macon, Betsy Burns of Charlotte, NC, and a host of other relatives; special friends, Bruce and Martha Howard of Sharpsburg, Carol Berry of Newnan, and the residents and staff at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Jimmy Patterson will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 Saturday morning at the funeral home.
