MRS. JUANITA J. GOSDIN Mrs. Juanita Johnson Gosdin, 82, of Senoia, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Gosdin was born February 2, 1933, in LaGrange, daughter of the late James Homer Johnson and Veatrice Lanier Johnson. A resident of Senoia for the past two years, she lived in Luthersville for 25 years, where she worked with her daughter, Mariea, at Patriot's Corner Mart and was known as the "biscuit lady." Mrs. Gosdin was a member of New Hope Church in Meriwether County. Survivors include her children, Sherry Hand of LaGrange, Thomas Grizzard of Greenville, Cheruyl Gosdin of Senoia, Mariea Gosdin of Greenville, Jethro Gosdin, Jr. of McDonough; brothers, Thomas (Buddy) Johnson and Jimmy Johnson and step-brother, George B. Allen, all of LaGrange; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jethro Holmes Gosdin, Sr.; brothers, Howard Johnson and Edward Johnson; and sister, Amanda McNeer. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Kenneth Whitlock and the Reverend Winston Skinner will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County.
