Juanita Jacobs Darden

Mrs. Juanita Jacobs Darden, 96, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at The Reserve at Town Lake in Woodstock

.

Mrs. Darden was born October 12, 1926, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Charlie Sherard Jacobs and Jessie Smith Jacobs. A graduate of Crawford W. Long School of Nursing in Atlanta, she was a retired registered nurse, having served at West Georgia Medical Center and as a private duty nurse. She was a member of the Christian Biblical Church of God, enjoyed gardening and anything that bloomed, and was a generous person who loved caring for others.

Survivors include her daughters, Era Elaine Darden of Kennesaw, Diane Darden Grant and her husband Hershel Grant of Clayton; granddaughter, Christena Brostrom and her husband Eric Brostrom of Woodstock; and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Brostrom and Charlotte Brostrom.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Mr. Burtis Hicks officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
