Joyce Turner Phillips

Mrs. Joyce Turner Phillips, 77, of Grantville, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Phillips was born November 7, 1941, in Hogansville, daughter of the late J.C. and Blanche Culberson Turner. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she lived in Hobe Sound, Florida for ten years before returning to this area in 2008. She was a licensed practical nurse, having worked at Clark-Holder Clinic and Troup County Health Department, and was a member of the Hogansville Church of God. Survivors include her son, Leslie Phillips of Grantville; grandson, David Phillips and his wife Amanda of Newnan; and great-grandchildren, Michael Phillips, River Phillips, Ethan Phillips, and Destiny Moore, all of Newnan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donny L. Phillips and sons, Mark Phillips and Jeffery Phillips. A memorial service will be planned later. Claude A.
