MRS. JOYCE DRIVER Mrs. Joyce Dean Driver, 75, of Hogansville, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Springhill Baptist Church at Hogansville. The Reverend Stanley Rogers will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Mrs. Driver was born August 19, 1938, in Heard County, daughter of the late Hulett and Thelma Shelnutt Dean. She had lived at Hogansville for fifty years, was Baptist by faith, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Allen of Hogansville; sisters, Estelle Caswell of Centralhatchee, Mary Crump of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Randy and Renee Driver, Larry, Jr. and Brandy Short, all of Hogansville, Tori and Rocky Alvarado of Newnan and eleven great-grandchilden. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. (Buck) Driver; and sons, Dale Driver and Buck Driver, Jr. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
