Mrs. Joyce Cleveland Caswell, 83, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, at Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehabilitation and Specialty Hospital.
Mrs. Caswell was born October 14, 1933, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Russell and Katie Evans Pike. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she retired from Playtex International in LaGrange and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Mrs. Caswell was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in-law, Darryl and Debbie Cleveland of Luthersville, Duane and Kathy Cleveland of Hogansville; grandchildren, Chris Cleveland, Lacey Cleveland, Heidi Cleveland, Cody Cleveland, Heather Richardson and Meagan Richardson; and great-grandchildren, Maddie Billings, Tatum Billings, Hunter Cleveland, and Kaiden Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Olin W. Cleveland, and her son, Richard O. Cleveland. Her second husband, Henry Caswell, also preceded her in death and his children, Woody and Shelia and their children also survive.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Willow Heim will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night.
