Joshua Paul Lanning, 19, of Greenville, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, of injuries received in an auto accident in Coweta County.
Josh was born May 2, 1998, in Atlanta and lived in the Coweta County area most of his life. He was employed by Newco, USA in Fairburn and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grantville. He enjoyed old country music and football, but loved being with his family most of all.
Survivors include his fiancée, Kristyn Kilgore, and his son, Eli Walter Lanning, of Greenville; mother and step-father, Angie and Tim Bunn of Hogansville; father, Timothy Paul Lanning of North Versailles, PA; sisters, Brittany McCauley and Micah Williams of LaGrange, Victoria and Zach Parsons of North Versailles; grandparents, George and Kaye McCauley of Whitesburg, Charlene and Melvin Bunn of Hogansville, Iris and John Lanning of Vandergrift, PA.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, at the First United Methodist Church of Grantville. The Reverend Ron Capes will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night.
