JOSHALYN KENDAL BAXTER Joshalyn Kendal "Josh" Baxter, age 6, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014. Josh was born December 13, 2007, in Mobile, Alabama and had lived in Hogansville for the past two years. She was a first grade student at Heard County Elementary School and had attended Bible School at Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents, Matt and Robin Baxter and her brothers, Trevor and Trent Baxter, all of Hogansville; grandparents, Jody and Robin Gainey of Hogansville, Thomas and Jill Baxter of Saraland, AL; and great-grandparents, Diane Johnston of Sandersville, Dorothy Griffin of Adel, Eloise Clarke of Saraland. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Milton Hall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Tuesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
