Josephine Hodges Mcgee

MRS. JOSEPHINE McGEE Mrs. Josephine Hodges McGee, 87, of Hogansville, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 17, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Max McCord officiating. Mrs. McGee was born December 16, 1920, in Columbus, daughter of the late Owen and Bonnie Williams Hodges. She had lived in Hogansville since 1937, was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and retired from Uniroyal, Inc. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her houseplants. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra McGee Jetter of Hogansville and Myric Paige McGee Jackson of Grantville; and one grandson, Mark Edward Wyche of Moreland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Alvin McGee; her son, Robert A. McGee, Jr.; and her grandson, Derek Stephen Jetter. The Claude A.
