Joseph Sanders Cole

MR. JOSEPH S. COLE Mr. Joseph Sanders (Joey) Cole, 60, of Franklin, passed away, Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in Cleveland, Tennessee. Mr. Cole was born January 17, 1954, in Savannah, son of the late Charles Clarence Cole and Katherine Elizabeth Cole. He was employed as a pipefitter by Dillon Mechanical, had lived in Franklin for the past eleven years, and was a member of Ephesus Christian Church in Carroll County. Survivors include his wife, Robin Smith Cole of Franklin; his children, J. J. Cole, Brandy Walton, Stephanie Galusha, Amanda Shaw, Cameron Shaw, and Nicholas Shaw; grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica and Joni; sisters, Sally Wood, Betty Cosby, and Pat Cole; brothers, Billy Cole, Charles Cole and Tony Cole; and his father in-law, Bill Smith. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, December 7, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Minister J. C. Cook and Minister Tim Cook officiating. Interment will be in Ephesus Christian Church Cemetery in Carroll County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to assist with the funeral expenses would be appreciated by the family. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
