JOSEPH EDWARD BOSWELL, JR. Mr. Joseph Edward Boswell, Jr., 59, of Hogansville, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Brian Wood and Minister Robert Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Boswell was born March 14, 1951, in Newnan, son of the late Joseph Edward Boswell and the late Mary Ruth Beckom Boswell. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he lived in Coweta County most of his life and was employed as an iron worker for Superior Rigging Corporation. Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Fong of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Mary Alice Wood of Hogansville and Allene Lowry of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Michael Boswell of Hogansville; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
