Johnny Ervin Williams

MR. JOHNNY E. WILLIAMS Mr. Johnny Ervin Williams, 91, of Riverdale, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Jonesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 9, 1918, in Meridian, Mississippi, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Walton Johnny Williams and the late Addie Mae Keller Williams. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War Two, lived in the Atlanta area most of his life, and retired from Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill. He was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include his daughter, Janice Tallman of Jackson; sons, Leon Williams of Canton, Ervin Williams of Danielsville, and Richard Williams of Grantville; brother, Leon Williams of Mobile, AL; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. The family will conduct a service later, with interment to be in Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, AL. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
