MR. JOHNNIE E. WILLIAMSON Mr. Johnnie E. Williamson, 86, of Hogansville, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at West Georgia Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Hurchell Armstrong and the Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williamson was born December 23, 1923, in Harrisonville, son of the late Will and Dovie Harrison Williamson. An Army veteran of World War Two, he lived in Hogansville most of his life and was the founder of West Georgia Textiles, which he operated over 50 years. Mr. Williamson was an evangelist and was affiliated with the Assembly of God over 65 years, and was attending Family Worship Center in Hogansville. Survivors include his daughters and son in-law, Joyce Richardson, Jennifer Williamson, and Judy and Mike Thomaston; son and daughter in-law, Eddie and Becky Williamson; sister in-law, Annie Mae Williamson, all of Hogansville; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Wednesday night, January 20th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21st, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville
