JOHN DAVID NACHTIGALL John David Nachtigall, 55, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, at the graveside in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately before and after the service. Mr. Nachtigall was born May 27, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was raised by his adoptive parents, the late David and Adelaide Adams Nachtigall. He had lived in the Atlanta area since 1996 and was a self-employed heating and air-conditioning sub-contractor. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Nachtigall of LaGrange; sister, Sharon Nachtigall Freeman of Hogansville; brother, Michael Antonio Castanetta; and four grandchildren, Audrieann Nachtigall, Trindee Tucker, Annsleigh Tucker, and Gauge Haney. He was preceded in death by his birth parents, Paul and Nettie Castanetta; his sister, Lois; and his brother, Paul. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
