MR. JOHN C. JOHNSTON Mr. John C. Johnston, 93, of the Corinth Community of Heard county, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Heritage Healthcare of Franklin. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Sheila Crowe will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Mr. Johnston was born August 28, 1915, in Heard county, son of the late John and Heard Daniel Johnston. He lived in Corinth most of his life and retired from the Georgia University System as a dairy inspector. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Davis Johnston of Corinth. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 1 until 2 Friday afternoon, April 17th, at Claude A.
