John Floyd "Jack" Johns III, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Jack was born January 8, 1997, in Atlanta and lived in the Hogansville area most of his life. He was employed as a sous chef for Longhorn Restaurants and also owned and operated Talkin Tacos, a retail food tent. He loved cooking, but music was his passion and he enjoyed serving as a DJ and was well-known in the area as DJ Justt Jackk.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Stephanie and Michael Keith of Lone Oak; father and step-mother, John Johns II and Barbara Johns of Crawfordville, FL; sisters and brothers, Amber Johns, Hunter Johns, Zach Johns, Caitlyn Johns, Justin McKee, Steven McKee, Shannon Schmidt, Nelson Muniz, Jr., Mikie Keith, and Shea Keith; grandparents, Barbara G. Johns, Vickie and Johnny Ramos, Susan and Bobby Leddon; and his aunt that he considered as a grandmother, Lillian Drake.
A memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor T J Boyd officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday.
