John Henry Gable

Mr. John Henry Gable, 87, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Gable was born January 24, 1931, in Sylacauga, Alabama, son of the late Stinson and Roxalee Ola Brittain Gable. A former resident of Senoia, he was employed by Southern Mills for a number of years and was a member of Tri-County Baptist Church in Turin. Survivors include his wife, Willodean Gable of Hogansville; daughters, Patricia Evans of LaGrange, Peggy Spradlin of Franklin; sons and daughters in-law, Henry Lee Gable of Hogansville, Kenneth and Deborah Gable of Jackson, Marshall and Cynthia Gable of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Ron Whitlock will officiate and interment will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Coweta County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
