Mr. John Milton Freeman, Jr., 63, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Freeman was born February 1, 1953, in Atlanta, son of the late John Milton Freeman and Ada Little Freeman McDonald. A resident of Hogansville for the past fifteen years, he was Baptist by faith and had been employed as a pneumatic instrument fitter.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Freeman of Hogansville; daughter, Stephanie Freeman and son, Steven Freeman, both of California; several step-children, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Ellen Twilley of Newnan, Melody Jean Atkins of Rock Mills, AL, and Paula Rae Bailey of Gay; brothers, James Lanier Waller of Fayetteville, Paul McDonald, Jr. of Newnan; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Clinton Hughes will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 until 11 Friday morning.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
