John Cook

John Cook, 56, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in West Point.

Mr. Cook was born January 12, 1969, in Texas, son of the late Maxine Suzanne Clerke Cook and the late Jerry Cook. A resident of Hogansville most of his life, he was a well-known painting contractor in the West Georgia area. John was an avid collector and enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. His world revolved around his family and grandkids, and they remember him as the most selfless, loving, and hardworking man.

Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Josh and Gabrielle Cook of Hogansville; grandchildren, Haven Cook, Jonah Cook, and Maxine Cook, all of Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1.
