Mr. John Harrison "Johnny" Boleman, 70, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Boleman was born July 18, 1952, in Fulton County, son of the late Milan Orland Boleman and Elizabeth Ann Shields Boleman. A resident of the Atlanta area most of his life, he retired after owning and operating B & B Cabinets in Atlanta. He was an avid hunter, a longtime member of Lost Gate Hunting Club, and was a member of Greenville Baptist Church. Mr. Boleman loved his family and especially lived for his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Martha "Dinkie" Boleman of Greenville; daughters, Shonta' Amandolia Hayes and her husband Tim Hayes of Cumming, and Kimberly Ann Fountain of Rockmart; grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Amandolia, Brittany Allison Lindsey, Emily Madison Fountain; great-grandchildren, Liam, Raelyn, Braden, and Harrison who will arrive later this year. He is also survived by his brothers, Mark Boleman of Roopville and Wayne Boleman of Atlanta; a number of nieces and nephews; and many friends made throughout his lifetime—as he never met a stranger.
The family will host a service to celebrate the life of Johnny Boleman at 12:00 p.m., Saturday May 13, with the Reverend Jonathan Porter officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., prior to the service.
