Joel Warren "Joey" Duffey

Joel Warren "Joey" Duffey, 50, of Blairsville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.

Mr. Duffey was born June 10, 1972, in Albany and lived in LaGrange most of his life before making his home in Blairsville ten years ago. He had been employed as an electrician and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his son, Warren Duffey of LaGrange; his mother, Myra Duffey, and his brother, Paul Duffey both of Blairsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Duffey and his brother, Brian Duffey.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Pastor TJ Boyd and Minister Chip Campbell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday.
