MRS. JOANNE E. ROBINSON Mrs. Joanne E. Robinson, 66, of Hogansville, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at her home. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Wednesday night, February 17. Born March 15, 1943, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late Joseph Norman Wintersole and the late Mary Elizabeth Works Wintersole. She lived in Fairburn before making her home at Hogansville in 2005 and was Baptist by faith. She enjoyed painting, photography, and sewing, and especially loved gardening and being with her family. Survivors include her husband, W. L. (Bill) Robinson of Hogansville; daughter, Jennifer Housch and Allen Elrod of LaFayette; step-daughters, Macy and Stephen Ott of Fayetteville and Michelle and Jay Middleton of Villa Rica; step-sons, Tony and Dana Gantt of Newnan and Jimmy and Gloria Gantt of Grantville; and grandchildren, Ashley Gantt, Hunter Ott, Jayme Middleton, Julianna Bradley, Jackie Doyal, Judy Rogers, and Stevie Thrower. The family expresses appreciation to Dr. Larry Gynther and his staff, and to the staff of West Georgia Hospice, for the care given Mrs. Robinson during her illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Georgia Hospice or to American Cancer Society. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
