MRS. JOANN COLE Mrs. JoAnn Oliver Cole, 55, of Newnan, died Monday, October 20, 2008, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Tony Collins will officiate and interment will be in the Senoia City Cemetery. Mrs. Cole was born May 26, 1953, in Newnan, daughter of the late Preston and Bertha Davis Oliver. She was a lifelong resident of Coweta county and was a member of Miracle Way Baptist Church in Senoia. Survivors include her husband, David Cole of Newnan; sons and daughters in-law, David and Katrina McIntyre and Shawn and Melissa Williams, all of Newnan; sister, Regina Oliver of Carrollton; brother and sister in-law, David and Marie Oliver of Carrollton; sister in-law, Margaret Houston of Lowell, MA; grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Justin, Austin, Shane, Shawna, Trisha, Sabrina, John, Jr., Kayla, and Josh; five nieces; and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Edward Houston, and her niece, Brenda Houston. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
