Joan Railey Howard

Mrs. Joan Railey Howard, 59, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Howard was born August 18, 1960, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Howard Railey and Daisy Jewell Traylor Railey. A life long resident of Troup County, she was Baptist by faith, enjoyed crocheting, and loved her cats. Survivors include her son, Chris Booker; brother, Jim Railey; nieces and nephews, including Lynn Foster, Patty Johnson, Danny Herron, Tiffany Foster, Randy Foster, Kylie and Kayden Foster, Kristen and Logan Knight, DeAnna Potts, Cody Potts, and the late Shannon Jones. She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Railey, and sister in-law, Cleo Railey. The family will host a memorial service at Freedom House on South Greenwood St. in LaGrange at a time to be announced. The Reverend Autry White will officiate. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is assisting the family of Mrs. Howard.
