Jo Ann Yearwood

Mrs. Jo Ann Yearwood, 78, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Yearwood was born June 7, 1940, in Graham, Alabama, daughter of the late James and Dewey Mae Cosper Hornsby. A resident of LaGrange most of her life, she was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church, was a homemaker, and enjoyed shopping for antiques and collectibles. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Yearwood of LaGrange; son and daughter in-law, Greg and Lisa Couch of Hogansville; grandchildren, Rhiannon and Cliff Massengale, Greg Couch, Raymond and Kelli Couch, Ryan and Danielle Couch; great-grandchildren, Neal, Gabriel, Carson, Shealyn, Kynleigh, Nolan, Layne; and her sister, Ernestine Cummings of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Steve Couch and infant daughter, Debra Couch. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, at Baptist Tabernacle Church. The Reverend Jimmy McMillian will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night and other times will be at the home of Greg and Lisa Couch at 280 Tin Bridge Rd. in Hogansville. Claude A.
