Jo Ann Pike

Mrs. Jo Ann Pike, 86, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hospice LaGrange. Mrs. Pike was born May 11, 1936, in Franklin, daughter of the late Wilburt and Elizabeth Lewis Ashley. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was employed as a seamstress for many years and was a member of Welcome All Baptist Church. She loved reading her Bible and enjoyed gardening until her health failed. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Pike; sons, Mike and Cathy Pike, Dennis Pike, Mark and Ima Pike, Todd Pike; sisters, Dorothy Braswell, all of Hogansville and Wilburta and Herman Clingenpeel of Aliquippa, PA; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Pike; grandson, Jackson Pike; daughter in-law, Gina Pike; brothers, Harlis Ashley, Fletcher Ashley, Wilburt Ashley, Jr., Jodie Ashley, Robert Ashley; and sister, Angeline Farmer. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Welcome All Baptist Church. Dr. Tommy McLeroy and Rev. Jonathan Pike will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.
