Jo Ann Pike Mckinley

Mrs. Jo Ann Pike McKinley, 79, of Newnan, passed away, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. McKinley was born November 16, 1945, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Tommy Pike and Martha Hammett Pike Woodruff. Before making her home in Newnan three years ago, she lived in the Corinth Community most of her life, retired from Shaw Industries in Newnan, and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, dancing, traveling, going to the casino, and watching her grandson Marty race. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Lunsford and his wife Kathy Lunsford; daughter, Amber Smith and her significant other Brandon Hammett, all of Newnan; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Lunsford; sister, Nancy Howard; and brothers, Frank Pike and Tommy Ray Pike.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor TJ Boyd and Chaplain Charleen Smith will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
