MR. JIMMY JOHNSON Mr. Jimmy F. Johnson, 71, of Grantville, died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before and after the service. Mr. Johnson was born April 1, 1942, in Coweta County, son of the late Willie Floyd Johnson and Dorothy Smith Johnson Murphy. He was a lifelong resident of Coweta County and was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Becky and Reyes Olivarez of Forest Park; son and daughter in-law, Jason and Diane Johnson of LaGrange; sisters and brother in-law, Betty Faye and Gene Brewer and Tina Stephens, all of Pine Mountain; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a best friend of many years, Shirley Gaddy. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
