MR. JIMMY L. HUNT Mr. Jimmy L. Hunt, 55, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Harry Collins and the Reverend Milton Hall will officiate and interment will be in the Franklin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Thursday night. Mr. Hunt was born November 1, 1956, in LaGrange, son of the late Tommy Felder Hunt and Lurline Dollar Hunt. He was a lifelong resident of Hogansville and had been employed as a carpenter. Survivors include his daughters, Shelia Wessinger of LaGrange and Jamie Scantlin of Lone Oak; sons, Thomas Hunt of Beaufort, SC and Jimmy Lee Hunt, Jr. of Roanoke, AL; sisters, Frances Wood of LaGrange, Joyce Willingham, Nancy Copeland and Debra Gaddy, all of Hogansville, Linda Scott of Newnan, Peggy Powell of Franklin; and nine grandchildren. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, June 14th, at Claude A.
