Jimmy Wayne Costlow, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Costlow, Jr., age 44, of Newnan, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Born on July 7, 1982, Jimmy was the son of Jimmy Costlow, Sr. and the late Katie Marie Peterson. He was a lifelong lover of adventure, the outdoors, and motorcycles. Jimmy found his greatest joy in exploring with his three daughters, whom he loved deeply and of whom he was immensely proud.

In addition to his father, survivors include his children, Alexis Costlow (Chop Swint), Abby Costlow (Trenten Morgan), and Adaline Costlow. Jimmy was thrilled to await the birth of his first grandchild, Luca Deshawn Wayne Swint, born July 10, 2026. He is also survived by his siblings Samantha Powell, Chris (Lucinda) Costlow, and Chris Neil; his step-father, Wesley Peterson; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends for visitation and viewing from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, at Corinth Baptist Church, with Reverend Steve Helton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
