MRS. JIMMIE NELLE ROBINSON
Mrs. Jimmie Nelle Robinson, of Hogansville, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.
Mrs. Robinson was born November 7, 1917, in Heard County, daughter of the late James David (J. D.) Harcrow and Mary Hardy Harcrow. She lived in Hogansville most of her life, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and was wife of the late Hugh D. Robinson.
Survivors include her daughter, Janetha Robinson Jones of Conyers; grandchildren, Troy Jones and his wife, Deidre, of Peachtree City and Jana Miller and her husband, Rick, of Hogansville; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Rinaldi, Riley Jones, and Peyton Jones. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnnie Harcrow and Rudith Harcrow and sisters, Ivilyn Jackson, Opal Rainey, and Jean Ellington.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Barnes and Dr. Joe Almand will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday.
