Mr. Jim Littlefield, 84, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Littlefield was born March 13, 1940, in LaGrange, son of the late Grover Arthur Littlefield and Jimmie Lou Adams Littlefield. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a 1958 graduate of Troup High School and served
as the class president, was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, and was a former member and deacon of Corinth Baptist Church. He worked in the transportation industry in the Atlanta area for many years and retired in dispatch operations for Vaughan Xpress in LaGrange after 15 years of service. Mr. Littlefield was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Callaway Cavaliers fan, and he and his wife enjoyed bowling and were Senior League champions.
Survivors include his wife, Bee Littlefield of LaGrange; daughters, Tracey Borup (Kris) of Marietta and Robyn McCann of LaGrange; grandson, Ty McCann (Hana) and great-grandchildren, Kylin McCann and Kaymen McCann, all of LaGrange; his sister, Linda Dunlap of Mableton; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Brandon Brooks and Dr. Donald Yancey will officiate and entombment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.
