Mrs. Jessie Bell Gore, 87 of Thomaston, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation in Thomaston.
Born October 19, 1932 in Danville, Mrs. Gore was the daughter of the late Reuben Bennett Bell and Daisy Bond Bell. She had lived in Lithia Springs for fifty years before making her home in Thomaston in 2012, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Thomaston. She loved her camping club and square-dancing group, and retired from Southern Bell after 30 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Gore; son, Dennis Gore, both of Thomaston; grandchildren, Hunter Gore and Benjamin Gore; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 3, in the Chapel of Clade A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Bill Barber and the Reverend Ken Hennesy will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
