Jerry Ann Hudgins

Mrs. Jerry Ann Hudgins, 81, of Gay, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Hudgins was born January 11, 1939, in Cairo, GA, daughter of the late Luther Andrew Howell and Etta Mae Hall Howell. A resident of Meriwether County since 1985, she was employed for many years at Thomas's Restaurant in Forest Park and enjoyed working in her gardens. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Tony M. Hudgins of Gay; children, Jerry Dianne Dewey and her husband Thomas Dewey of Senoia, Joyce Cushing and her husband Tim Cushing of McDonough, Linda Pogue, also of McDonough, Frank Tobias of Hampton, Debra Downey of Gay, Jeffery Davis of Decatur, Stephanie Lynn Hudgins and her fiancée Shawn Abraham of Gay, and Andrea Marie Arroyo of Burnsville, MN; sister, Bobbie Beckom and her husband Reggie Beckom of Martinez; brothers, Larry Howell and his wife Susan Howell of Lawrenceville, and Jeffery Howell; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Tobias; and a grandson, Matthew Cushing. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Donnie Shelton will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
