MR. JERRY GADDY

Mr. Jerry Wayne Gaddy, 70, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Born November 20, 1953 in Hogansville, Mr. Gaddy was the son of the late Raymond and Lois Flournoy Gaddy. He was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was a logger with Green Trucking, and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Gaddy was an Atlanta Braves fan and loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Gaddy; son and daughter in-law, Matt and Christy Gaddy, all of Hogansville; daughter and son in-law, Tracy and Ricky Haynes of LaGrange; brother and sister in-law, Johnny and Shirley Gaddy of Hogansville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gaddy was preceded in death his daughter, Jody Lynn Gaddy; brother, Randy Gaddy; and his sister, Debra Shuler.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Jody Mitchell and Reverend Jeff Duran will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 Saturday afternoon.
