Jenny Galloway Norwood

Mrs. Jenny Galloway Norwood, 73, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Norwood was born July 27, 1947, daughter of the late Betty Smith Galloway and Raford Galloway. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was a floral designer prior to her retirement and was a member of Change Church in Grantville. She enjoyed visiting the mountains, attending dirt track racing, and watching Georgia Bulldog football, but most of all she loved taking care of her familyand being with her babies. Survivors include her son and daughter in-law, Wayne and Lora Norwood; daughter and son in-law, Wendy and Eric Scott of LaGrange; brother and sister in-law, Steve and Pam Galloway of Hogansville; sister and brother in-law, Lisa and Ricky Tenney of Rockmart; sister in-law, Linda Galloway of Hogansville; grandchildren, Mallory Norwood (Blake), Tara Garcia (Marco), Wesley Hawk (Kellyn), Gracelyn Hawk (Lacey), Blayton Scott, Ericka Pitman (Blake); great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Norwood, Kolton Head, Keeton Head, Kyle Head, Kynzlee Garcia, Esmeralda Garcia, Addison Hawk, Brett Hawk, Hunter Smith, Logan Hunt, Maddie Pitman, Rylan Pitman, Lily Pitman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Norwood, and her brothers, Carl Galloway and Ron Galloway. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 24, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor TJ Boyd will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
