Jennifer Elaine Williamson, age 72, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.
Ms. Williamson was born August 21, 1953, in Newnan, daughter of the late Johnnie Edward Williamson and Mable Laster Williamson. A 1971 graduate of Hogansville High School, she attended West Georgia Technical College and served many years as an accountant for West Georgia Textiles in Hogansville. She enjoyed traveling, loved to have a cup of coffee, and enjoyed watching her favorite television shows.
Survivors include her son, Jeremy Royster (Marcia) of Hogansville; grandchildren, John Royster (Ciera), Jackilyn Sewell (Taylor), Jaylea Barnett, Julieanna Barnett, Joseph Barnett; great-grandchildren, Khalani Sewell, Nova Sewell, Jesse Royster; sisters, Joyce Richardson; Judy Thomaston (Mike); and brother, Eddie Williamson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Barnett.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor James Calhoun and Pastor Terry Smay will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
