Jennie Heath Kennedy

Mrs. Jennie Heath Kennedy, 70, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus.

Jennie was born February 26, 1953, in Hogansville, daughter of the late George and Tiny Dollar Heath. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she was a retired real estate broker and was recently employed in the Meriwether County Public Defenders Office. She was a member of Change Church in Grantville and enjoyed quilting.

Survivors include her daughter, Lee Ann Prescott and her husband David of Hogansville; son, Buddy Drake and his wife Marsha of Covington; grandchildren, Allison Eneix, Renee Prescott, Noah Prescott, Heath Drake, Austin Drake; and great-grandchildren, Bentlie Searels and Addie Grace Eneix. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cleve Heath.

The funeral service was conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with Pastor T J Boyd officiating.
