Jeffery A. "Jeff" Talley

Jeff Talley, age 59, of LaGrange, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Talley was born August 8, 1967, in Phenix City, Alabama, son of the late Charles William Talley and the late Susan Silver Talley Davis. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a 1987 graduate of Hogansville High School and worked in auto sales and financing most of his life. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing karaoke, and watching movies from his large collection of DVD’s. He loved his grand dogs and Alabama football “Roll Tide” and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his former wife, mother of his daughters, and friend, Jennifer Talley; daughters, Jade Talley (Jesse Lawrance) of LaGrange, Jana Talley (Eric Mullis) of Charlotte, NC; brother, Scott Talley of LaGrange; and sisters, Cynthia Talley of LaGrange and Kathie Hartley of Calhoun. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Robert “Chuck” Talley.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with Chris Wilkie officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26.
