MRS. JEANNE FORBUS
Mrs. Jeanne Hines Forbus, 72, of the Lone Oak Community of Meriwether County, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Hospice LaGrange.
Born May 28 1941 in Grantville, Mrs. Forbus was the daughter of the late Ralph and Gloria Palmer Hines. She was a graduate of Newnan High School, had lived in Lone Oak for 41 years and retired from the Meriwether County Sheriff's Office.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Lisa and Tony Davis of Hogansville; sisters and brother in-law, Jeanette and Irvin O'Neal of Luthersville, Merne Posey of Columbus, Isabel Quattlebaum of Stockbridge, and Harveylene Peterson of Clinton, MS.; a grandson, Brandon Wheelus of Hogansville; a niece, Miss Jenny O'Neal; a nephew, Kevin Posey; and a special friend, Nancy Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbard Forbus.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Winston Skinner and Reverend Chad Hill will officiate and interment will be in the Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Wednesday evening.
