Jeanine Cook Rainwater

Mrs. Jeanine Cook Rainwater, 80, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Rainwater was born January 23, 1938, in Newnan, daughter of the late Harvey and Gladys Cook. She was a homemaker, was a talented musician, and served as pianist for Turin Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Bobby McCoy; daughter, Jeannie Rolfe, both of Hogansville; granddaughter, Cindy Ann; and brother, Wayne Cook of Newnan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred T. Rainwater; daughter, Joy McCoy; granddaughter, Rachel Nell McCoy; and brother, David Cook. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend John McDuffie, Jr. and the Reverend Russell Arrington will officiate and interment will be in First White Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 3 Sunday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
