Jeanette Hines O'Neal

Mrs. Jeanette Hines O'Neal, 84, of Luthersville, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at City of Hope in Newnan.

Mrs. O'Neal was born May 28, 1941, in Grantville, daughter of the late Ralph and Gloria Palmer Hines. A resident of Luthersville most of her life, she retired from the Meriwether County School System and from Alvista Care Home. She was Baptist by faith, enjoyed reading and embroidering, and especially loved caring for her husband and daughter.

Survivors include her husband, Irvin O'Neal of Luthersville; and sisters, Merne Posey of Columbus, Isabel Quattlebaum of Stockbridge, and Harvelene Peterson of Clinton, MS. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer O'Neal.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 14. in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Winston Skinner and the Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
