Jeanette Denney Estes

Mrs. Jeanette Denney Estes, 83, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Estes was born October 5, 1934, in Opelika, Alabama, daughter of the late Delbert and Grace Leonard Denney. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Treasury Drugs in LaGrange. Before her health failed, she had enjoyed dancing and bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger B. Estes and is survived by her niece, Christy Calhoun-Todd of Hogansville; nephews, Clay Neill of LaGrange, Lee Calhoun and Sammy Calhoun, both of Hogansville; and great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Mike Hornsby will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Sunday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
