Mrs. Jean McCullough Harrison, 71, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Mrs. Harrison was born January 19, 1951, in Newnan, daughter of the late Melvin McCullough, Jr. and Evelyn Garrett McCullough. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Newnan and had owned and operated a childcare center for a number of years. She loved caring for children and enjoyed sewing, crafts, and flowers. She was a talented artist and especially loved drawing.
Survivors include her husband, John Harrison of Franklin; daughters, Teresa Eason of Griffin, Tammy Harrison of Sharpsburg, Tara Callaway of Franklin; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Jean Harrison, and a grandson, Joey Eason.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Calhoun, the Reverend Steven Calhoun, and the Reverend Jonathan Hannah will officiate and interment will be in the Sharpsburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Pierce, Andrew Ferrell, Johnny Ferrell, Jody Ferrell, Fabian Santos, Larry Russell, Blair Ficklin, and Ryan Clay.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
