Mr. Jared Cook, 41, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home.
Born June 7, 1983 in Westerly, Rhode Island, Jared had been a resident of Greenville for the past 22 years and attended Gray Hill Baptist Church and First Assembly of God in Chalybeate Springs. He loved working with his hands, was a carpenter, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jared loved hanging out with his uncles and was known as a food connoisseur.
Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Cook; brother, Joshua Banks Cook; adopted sister, Patricia Smith; nieces and nephew, Nadia Richardson, Amanda Cook, Joshua Cook, Jr., and Zoey Cook; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jared was preceded in death by his father, Blain Llewelyn Cook; sister, Amanda Cook; and grandparents, Ruby Lallo-Burnham, Edward Lallo, Janice Banks, Earl Banks, and Eugene Cook.
The family will host a gathering to celebrate the life and memory of Jared on Friday, November 1, at First Assembly of God, 1218 Chalybeate Rd. in Manchester, from 5 until 8.
