Janice Julene Sams

Mrs. Janice Julene Sams, 69, of LaGrange, passed away, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at West Georgia Medical Center. Born July 8, 1946 in Troup County, Mrs. Sams was the daughter of the late Helen Dorothy Nasworthy. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County, retired from Milliken Elm City Plant, and loved crafting with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Darlene Sams; two sons and a daughter in-law, Tim and Kim Sams and their son Jacob and Greg Sams and his son Gabriel, all of LaGrange; grandchildren, Kevin and Joann Sams and their children, Elijah and Layla, Jennifer and Jon Biles and their children, Katelyn and Ella, and Jessica Leona Sams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald O'Neal Sams. The family of Mrs. Sams is honoring her wish that no funeral service be held. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
