Janice Looney Gable

Mrs. Janice Marie Looney Gable, 81, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at her home. Born September 11, 1939, in LaGrange, Mrs. Gable was the daughter of the late William and Martha Powell Looney. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, was employed for 35 years as a floral designer in LaGrange and Columbus, and retired from Hughes Georgia Corporation. Survivors include her husband, Hal Gable; her son, Daryl Gable, both of LaGrange; grandchildren, Lindsey Walker, Cecily Nelson, James Edwards, Jennifer Strickland; great-grandchildren, Emily, Jade, Milo, William, Jr., Ashlyn, Natalie, Emersyn, Caroline, Jalynn, Demarkel, James, Landon, Donald Ray, Olivia, Dakota. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Gable Edwards. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 17, at Dunson Baptist Church. The Reverend S. T. Janney and the Reverend Kenneth Cole will officiate and interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night. Claude A.
