Mrs. Janetha Robinson Jones, 72, of Conyers, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers.
Mrs. Jones was born November 3, 1946, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Hugh and Jimmie Nelle Harcrow Robinson. A 1964 graduate of Hogansville High School, she retired as a victim/witness coordinator for the U.S. Department of Justice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Houston Jones.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Jana and Rick Miller of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Troy and Deidre Jones of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Tyler Rinaldi, Riley Jones, Peyton Jones; and her partner and companion, Bill Arnold.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Dr. Lamar Truitt will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
